Being in Asia, while the rest of the world is getting layered up, we are rather slow with catching up on the cooler weathers. But that’s okay, because there’s no reason to not start layering! Like Victoria Beckham says, less is more, so I’ve gone muted with the colours and big on the patterns instead.
This vest jacket is a new favourite of mine, one because it elongates the body, and two, because it effortlessly makes your look more presentable without actually being a pain to wear (unlike a pair of heels for example…) Pants are always my go-to, so having louder and a different kind of stripes to contrast with the subtle pinstripes on the same colour palette was a no-brainer way to mix patterns.
When it comes to shoes of course, flats are the preferable choice because of the amount of walking around we do in Hong Kong, and pointed flats helps you stay classy and comfortable all day long. I choose to let my watch shine with this outfit, and the thin metallic gray strap along with the rose gold dial was a gorgeous way to turn this look from lazy to lady-like.
